Wow! We are humbled by 10 years of filling tummies and minds! Over 300,000 meals/snacks served to our kiddos--all because you stepped up to the plate to make a difference!
We can't stop now! So, this month are having two events. One on line and one at Wild Iris in Lander. Today, we begin an online raffle for this tanzanite necklace. The tanzanite was donated by Collin Thompson and the piece was created by Lennie Poitras (Lander local artisan),
Tickets are $10 each or 6 for $50. Choose your numbers and let me know your choices! Drawing will be within the next couple of weeks on Facebook Live.
Traditional Native American Star Quilt donated and created by Betty and Leslie Mathews. Drawing will be live June 21.
Yowza! Lots of stuff going on for us this week! Sunflower Kids is having a popUp at Lander City Park, July 31, 2021. It'll be in the Gazebo at the playground area. 12-4.
In lieu of our in person fundraising events, we are raffling items that were donated for our silent auction. Thank you very much to all who donated. All ticket proceeds go to feed and educate our Sunflower Kiddos!
Hunger Banquet: March 21, 2020
Join us in learning about the causes of hunger. Few leave a hunger banquet feeling full. However, if you are one of the "lucky," you will be seated at a beautifully laid table and served an exquisitely prepared Tanzanian meal; complete with appetizers and dessert. Guests draw a ticket randomly assigning them to a high-, middle- or low-income tier. The luck of the draw determines the corresponding meal that you eat and if you sit at a table or on the floor. Dress comfortably.
There will be a silent auction.
Tickets are available here on-line, at the Lander Chamber of Commerce, Belles & Beaus, or by contacting Judi at 307-760-8788 or email@example.com
This is a family-friendly event.

What’s A Wine Draw?
It's a "fun"draiser! A way to win lots of wine and feed our kids!!
Drop a bottle of wine and purchase “insurances” at Wild Iris.
In this drawing, the last name to come out of the hat is the winner. The more entries you have, the greater your chances are at being the being the last name drawn from the hat.
Very important rule: No homemade wine and No wine cooler type wines, please!
Contribute a bottle of your favorite wine for one chance to win all your holiday wine. You must donate a bottle of wine to play. To increase your chance of winning, you can purchase “insurances” at $10 a pop. You can buy up to 5 insurances with each bottle of wine. So…a bottle of wine and 5 insurances is equal to 6 entries. That would be $50 and a bottle.
If you want even more chances…. you can donate a second bottle and buy up to 5 more insurances at $10 for each. Then, you would have 12 chances!
You can drop wine and buy insurances at Wild Iris (the store). Or, if you don’t have time or live to far away, you can send the money via http://thesunflowerkids.org/whats-new/
Let me know your favorite wine, and I will take care of the legwork for you. You can begin dropping your wine and buying chances Nov. 22.
We will accept wine donations and sell “insurances” up until Dec. 7th. The final drawing will be on Facebook Live on December 8th—Sunday.
